Thermionics' corporate office and primary manufacturing facility is located in Springfield, Illinois. Thermionics Corporation was incorporated in 1990. Over the years, Thermionics Corporation has developed several hot and cold retention products on its own or along with other quality manufacturers. A small selection of these quality products are featured on this web site.

Thermionics is the only manufacturer of all ThermiPaq and ThermiBeads products. We are also the only manufacturer incorporating the unique, patent-protected "Theramics" (Thermal Ceramix) compound into our hot and cold therapy products. These products are safe, portable, easy to use, and indefinitely reusable when used according to the individual product instructions.

Thermionics' primary technology was developed with the assistance of Tom Hughes, a former NASA engineer. Our hot and cold therapy products were designed in conjunction with physicians and other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, sports and rehabilitation specialists, pain therapists and oncologists.
